At Michigan Elite Conditioning for Athletes (MECA), our on-staff sports nutritionist works closely with our strength and conditioning coaches, athletes and non-athlete clients. They’ll teach you how nutrition and food fuels successful training. Our sports nutritionist also explains how food acts like medicine to heal issues in the body that may be impeding performance.

What to Expect During Your Sports Nutritionist Visit

Like our training, we take a personalized approach to your nutritional needs. Prior to your first visit, you’ll complete a comprehensive intake form to allow our nutritionist to better understand your current health and any issues you’re experiencing.

We have a wide range of tools and services at our disposal to help determine the root cause or causes of any health condition.

The nutritionist will review your specific nutritional plan and walk you through how to be successful. You’ll have good coaching and accountability to help you along the way. You’ll also have a client portal available to you for the questions that you may have.
